Introduction of fiber demister :

 

The fiber demister and filtration system, also known as "fiber filter" or "candle filter", adopts the company's unique technology to develop and produce, which can effectively control fog emissions, capture and remove soluble droplets in the air stream, and its filtration efficiency for sub-micron small droplets is as high as 99.99%. It can effectively filter pollutants or harmful substances in air streams and industrial gases, and can even collect available substances from heavy liquids, which is very suitable for removing submicron and liquid aerosols in gases and air streams. It has the characteristics of high efficiency, long life and low cost.

 

The fiber demister consists of two concentric screens or parallel flat screens filled with compressed fiber pads.

Fiber demister are individually designed and manufactured with enclosures made of a variety of alloys, thermoformed plastics or fiberglass reinforced plastics. The compressed fiber bed is made of special glass, ceramic, polypropylene, teflon or polyester. The typical fiber demister is composed of tubular fiber bed element (size is customized according to the working condition), bracket, flange, outer cover pressure vessel and other components.

 

 

Classification of fiber demister :

 

According to the trapping mechanism of fiber demister, fiber demister can be divided into low-speed type and high-speed type.

 

The low-speed fiber demister is an efficient fiber demister based on Brown diffusion trapping, which is characterized by low gas velocity, between 0.08 and 0.2m/s, and is used to trap fog particles with an average of less than 1μm, and the trapping efficiency is between 94% and 99.7%. For fog particles larger than 3μm, the capture efficiency is 100%. This form of fiber demister has a thick and compact fiber bed, a fine fiber, and a resistance between 490 and 1960Pa. The size of the resistance is related to the fiber filling density of the fiber demister element, the selected gas velocity and the de-fogging efficiency required by the user. If the user requires higher de-fogging efficiency and lower resistance, the number of de-fogging elements must be increased.

 

High-speed fiber fog eliminator is a fiber fog eliminator that traps fog particles by inertial collision and interception, which is characterized by high gas velocity, between 2.0 ~ 2.5m/s, to trap 1 ~ 3μm fog particles, the capture efficiency is about 97%, and the resistance is between 1470 ~ 2450Pa.

Fiber demister is specially used to remove various fog particles in the air stream, not only can remove large particles in the air stream (diameter > 3μm), but also very effective for removing sub-particles (diameter < 1μm). Has a certain self-cleaning ability, can achieve zero maintenance.

It can be widely used in the industrial production process to remove sub-micron liquid droplets and soluble solid particles in the gas, to protect downstream equipment, purify process gas, recover available solvents and oils, and eliminate air pollution.
